Proud Mom Moment

I know, I know, we all hate to hear "those" parents who think their kids are BRILLIANT and HANDSOME and WHITTY etc etc... but this is my blog and if you do not want to endure my indulging stop reading right here:) For those willing to tolerate my unashamed pride in my oldest son, stand by!
Thursday was the 6th grade awards ceremony. Andrew cleaned house! He received Principal's highest academic honors for quarter 1 and Highest Academic honors for quarter 2. He also received 2 academic excellence awards in both Computer Apps and Science. And last but not least, Andrew was awarded the Principal's award for Outstanding Wildcat for 6th grade! This is partially an academic award, but mostly a civic award for good citizenship! In all honesty, I am so humbled! I of course think Andrew is a great kid. It is so humbling to see that others see some of the same qualities in him. I am so excited to see how God is going to work though this sweet young man!!! Here are some pictures of the event!
