Monday was the big day! Scott removed the golden Major oak leaves and replaced them with silver Lt. Col. ones. This was such a special day for our family. When Scott originally took the transition from CH46E's to KC130's we were prepared that he would never promoted. What a blessing that God saw differently. Japan is a hard place to get people to come... We are just too far away. Unfortunately Scott's parents could not be here for the big day. Our good friend the John Riemer swore Scott in and read the oath of office. Scott's boss Lt. Col Bussel and I had the honor of pinning on his new rank:)

Congrats Major Payne (Lt Col) Wish we could of been there to congrats you. However in a week we should be there.
