Rudolf Sundae Time

The 5th Graders are "Steppin' Up" to Middle School next year. We as parents have formed a fundraising team to help raise money for a class T Shirt, Banquet and some fun activities for the last week of school. We copied Grammy's Rudolf Sundae idea today and it was a RAGING success!!! We formed 2 assembly line tables: 2 Kids were the Cashiers, 2 moms scooped ice cream, 2 kids assembled eyes and a red nose with M&M's, 2 kids put a squirt of fudge on the top of the head and another 2 moms put a dab of Ready Whip (don't laugh too hard if you read this Kathy Fitz!!!) and 2 mini candy canes for antlers. They turned out so cute. It was a challenge because it was about 75 degrees (sorry for those readers who are freezing in the North East) and raining, so the ice cream melted fast. My partner in crime who helped me organize this ice cream bananza bought antlers but we were not sure if the boys would wear them... Who were we kidding??? They LOVED them and wore them with pride!!! What a great success:) Enjoy the picture of our fearless Rudolf assembly makers!!! *** It should be noted that all the 5th grade boys were forced to wash their hands and wear sanitary plastic gloves while assembling sundaes!!!
