MY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL GRADUATE...

Last Thursday Andrew had his "graduation" ceremony. Next year he becomes a "Big Kid" and moves from elementary school to middle school. This is a first for Dodds. 6th grade has traditionally been a prat of Elementary School. Lucky us! We are the middle school guinea pigs!!! Andrew is pretty excited about the move. Here are some pictures from our fun day:)

Andrew, all grown up! He looked so handsome!!!

So, what would YOU do with graduation confetti used as table decorations???? Stick them on your face of course! Gotta love boys!

I was in charge of place cards! They turned out pretty cute!!!

Graduation Cake!!!

Andrew's Buddies from Scouts...

Andrew's class with their awards. Andrew was pleased with his all A's and award in Language and Culture.

Andrew's teacher, Mrs. Ahn. She has truly been the biggest blessing. Andrew has grown so much this year and a large part of his growth has come from this marvelous teacher. Very few teachers have the ability to really uplift and value their students. Very few have the ability to touch each child and make them feel like the most important and special child in the class. Mrs. Ahn has this gift. I am quite certain that when Andrew looks back on his school career, he will never ever forget this precious woman who taught him in the 5th grade. We love you Mrs. Ahn!!!

Congratulations, Andrew! How exciting! We're heading for 8th grade here, but we've not had to change schools to do it yet!

Enjoy your summer!
Jane
