A Sweet Time

It was a hard week leaving Kevin and Sam alone up at Cub Scout Camp. Five whole days away form my little ones. God sure provided. The boys were together in the same room and the third child in the room with them had a Dad there who let them call home every night to talk to me:) They had a ball playing games, carving soap, making Styrofoam cars, eating with the Marines in the mess hall and watching a movie every night in the Marines' theater. They had a ball, but were ready to come home for sure:)

Andrew and I also had a wonderful time alone together. We were back to how it all started - just him and me. He is a lot more talkative than when he was a newborn, but at least he did not cry as much or wake me up in the middle of the night (sorry Sarah and Amy!!!) We had fun running errands and going places with our friends. Here we are at this really cool Japanese Bath House / Pool. When you walk in to the complex, you can stop by and let the "Doctor Feet" fish eat away the dry and dead skin on your feet and legs. Sounds really gross and I guess it kind of is, but it is also pretty cool. Here is Andrew trying it out...

Flesh eating fish... KIDDING!!!

Here is a view of two of the pools in the complex. The upper one is warm water and the lower one is a little cooler. When you put your head under water you can here soft music playing and dolphins talking to one another... SO Japanese!!!!

After a really nice week together, we drove up on Friday to pick up the young campers! They were smelly and dirty and had even smellier and dirtier clothing, but they were happy to see us! They ended camp with a fun bar-b-que at Orwan Beach. Here are some picutes of the fun....
