Last week, Andrew had the chance to go as an exchange student to one of the local Japanese 6th grades. His middle school had hosted this class earlier in the school year and now it was time for our American students to visit. What a blast! He was broken into a small group where his new friends taught him a taiko dance. They also got to eat lunch together and play. He really enjoyed it. Here are some fun pictures of his day!

Barley Tea any one???

Japanese School Lunch. All the children get school lunch. They also bring it to their classrooms and everyone has a lunch job. Some serve their class mates and others work on the clean up. What a novel idea!!! And it was REALLY yummy to boot!
