Well, our PCS has officially begun. We are not taking much leave on our way home to the States this summer. Scott has to start to work as soon as possible so we really want our stuff when we get to VA. It takes 8-9 weeks for our household goods to get to the States so on Monday we began Moving Phase One. We shipped our HHGs and are left with government furniture and our Express shipment. Here are some pictures of our prep and move so far...
We need to separate what is NOT to be shipped from what needs to go. We printed up a bunch of "Do not pack" signs and posted them all over the house. Here is our Laundry / Mud room.

We are putting the boys to work cleaning. What fun!!!

Scott is having a blast!

Pee Boy meets Pee Boy...

Thank Goodness!!! We found the declutter book just in the nick of time!!!!

DO NOT PACK THE BOYS... no matter how tempting it may be....

They are HHHEEEEAAARRRR!!!!!

All our trash will fit in these crates!!!

These packers are simply amazing. They arrived EARLY at 7:45 and were completely DONE packed and loaded at 3:30!!!! It might be because they only took one break the entire time they were here, unlike their American counterparts who take a 15 minute break every hour! Unreal how well this stuff is packed! I just looked on in awe!

More packing...

Starting to load the crates...

Nailing up the crates...

See you on 2 June...

Now we are left on this crappy government bed. We decided to get a foam pad to try to make it a bit more comfortable...

I look like the woman on the packaging. IF only it was that comfortable. It
is not. Oh well... Keep checking in for more PCS updates!
