Pinewood Derby 2011

14 Pinewood Derby cars down and one to go!!!  Unless, of course, Kate the Great wishes to participate in the Awana Grand Prix, then Scott will need to drag his dremmel motor thingy out again.  (You can tell I have SOOOOOO much to do with building the cars!)  Kevin's final Pinewood Derby race was a fun one.  Both cars started strong.  Sam's car missed third place by nanoseconds.  Kevin's had to have a pit stop after his first time down the track and it never fully recovered after that... bummer.  Both boys were good sports and a fun time was had by all.  Here are some shots of the day!

 Quite possibly the coolest Pinewood Derby car I have seen in our 8 years of Cub Scouting.  It was called "Arrow of Light" and it was super fast!  Well done!!
