It is Chinese New Year this week.  

This week we ring in The Year of the Horse.

The timing has worked out perfectly with my photography class assignment: "Be Inspired."

Kate's New Year's silks were my inspiration!

We snapped a few in her room with her Bitty Baby in her very own silks!

 This is a Guangxi "Love Ball" that we got for Kate from her home province.  They were all over the place there!  So pretty.

a really good sport for putting up with my endless picture taking!

 Grammy bought her this Chinese parasol from Epcot and Kate LOVES it!

I gave her the parasol and told her to play Mulan…
