Just yesterday we took a giant leap into our life after the Marine Corps!
Scott was selected to Own and Operate a new Chick Fil A that is going to be built in the sweet little town of Purcellville, VA.
When he first started the journey, it almost sounded funny... Hard Charging Marine to Restaurant Owner... Such a "natural" transition...
But, the more you dig into who Chick Fil A really is, the more this seems like the most logical transition.
Chick Fil A is truly a business whose mission is to reach out and serve those in the community. It is a mission filed quietly disguised as a Chicken Restaurant.
One of Scott's passions is investing in the lives of others. He is a leader, a teacher and a mentor. This incredible opportunity will provide him the chance to pour into the lives of young people who work for him. He can provide a vehicle to creating tomorrow's leaders by teaching them to leave others better than they found them.
We are so excited to have the opportunity to be a part of a new community. We pray that God will use us both and this restaurant to further His purposes. We know He goes before us; He always has.
I am so excited for this new chapter in our story.

Kelly! Hi there! I haven't checked your blog in a while, but what a surprise when I saw that you guys will be the owners of the Chic-Fil-A in my little town, Purcellville!! Are you guys moving here? My, what a small world. I live about 1/2 mile from PHC, which is right across the street from the soon to be Chic-Fil-A location.
