Good Bye Koza...

Our last Sunday in our building was a bittersweet one. After 42 years of serving the Community on Okinawa, Koza Baptist is having to sell their property to the city of Koza so they may expand the road. We are in the process of building a new facility, but that will not be complete until late Spring. In the mean time we are moving to what we are all affectionately calling "The Tabernacle" or the temporary location. We are laughing because it is a former Japanese grocery store. Scott was caught saying: "Salvation... Aisle 2" during the move. Funny Guy...

Our last time to share a pew with the Latchaw Family

The Praise Band getting geared up for their last Jam session... (No, Amy... We have no base player. Some things just cannot be replaced...Check out our Sax though!!! We also have a pretty cool recon Marine playing the electric guitar!)

Next, one last shot of our choir singing for the last time on the alter... You can also see that this was the last Lord's Supper celebrated. It was Sam's first!!!

Finally one of Sweet Mitziko - san. Mitziko has been working in our church nursery since the doors first opened in 1965. She always sobs when she is given public recognition! She also never stops bowing!!! I love her to pieces!!!!
