We have been cabled!!! This means that the National Visa Center in the United States received Kate's preliminary visa approval, processed it and cabled a letter to the American Consulate in China saying they have permission to grant Kate the visa that will make her a United States citizen upon entering the United States!!
Next Step? A representative will hand carry Kate's visa application to the consulate and apply for the visa. This is very similar to when we apply for a visa to go to China. This process takes exactly 2 weeks from drop off to pick up. After that we wait for the FINAL two steps. Travel Approval and our Consulate appointment!!! We need both to book our tickets!!! We are SOOOOO CLOSE!!!!!

Its happening!!!! It is always so good when both countries agree that YES we can adopt :)
Hope we get a steal of a deal on those airline tickets!!
:)
Isn't it amazing how after all those LONG weeks of waiting, it seems so close now!!! When we got cabled and dropped off, it suddenly felt like I jumped on the merry go round... spinning so fast and not feeling like I am getting anywhere. We will be on planes before you know it! If you still want to get together sometime, let me know!
Another big step accomplished! You are getting close! Can't wait to see her in your arms :)
