December in Review...

As always, December is a busy, busy month so full of fun and activities.

Here is a little review of our Pre Christmas fun!

I might have overdone it with the pictures, but hey, I want to remember it all:)

First... Our "Dave Ramsey" Tree

Stupid thing did not survive the move very well.  Currently the entire bottom half of the tree  does not light...  My men tried to make it better by adding some of their own lights, but still... It is a good thing I love my man so because I truly had a moment over this tree... It has served us well but this is its last year.  (Scott Payne, I am talking to YOU!!!)

The first weekend in December was the Air Station Christmas party.  Being pilot kids, my boys are accustomed to Santa flying in on all sorts of aircraft.  While a KC130 Herc with a red nose and Santa out of the escape hatch remains my fave, this little TH-57 did a mighty fine job!!!

Can you see him all the way in the back seat???  The kids were squealing with delight!  Kate not so much...

Santa Grace (Baggett Family, See Colonel Grace at his finest!!!) has arrived!

It is official.  Kate is a Marine Corps Brat!!  She has stomped on bubble wrap, albeit, not in a hanger, but close enough!

So NOT a fan of Santa.  We did not even try the mall Santa this year!

About mid month we attened the Christmas Court of Honor with troop 400.  The guys FINALLY switched their 43 patches to 400 patches, very begrudgingly.

Sam getting his merit badges... Next COH he will certainly see his next rank.  Football set him back, but he is on track now!!

Here is Kevin getting his merit badges.  He will most likely be seeing his next rank at the next COH as well!

Andrew earned two of the hardest merit badges in preparing for his trip to Philmont, backpacking and hiking!

Kate did a repeat performance on the last day of school.  She was psyched to wear her Christmas PJ's to school!!!

Andrew received his very first Varsity Letter for running Cross Country!  So proud of him!!!

Finally, we have been baking...

and sprinkling,

and rolling through the past few days...

We are not sure what Kate will make of Christmas this year, but something tells me she is going to "get" it this go around!

We wish you all a very Merry Christmas!  May you bask in the glow of the New Born King!!!  Praise be to God for this indescribable Gift!!!
