We had a blast this weekend attending Pensacola's Mardi Gras Parade! For a small town, they did an awesome job getting into the spirit! Just ask the guy in the squid hat below!!!
Seriously, where else can you find Alligator on a Stick???
We went to the parade with the K family! It was a blast! Kelly has earned my respect by sampling Alligator on a Stick that Sam simply calls "Redneck Yakitori"!
There were TONS of floats all tossing beads, toys, and moon pies.
Lots of pirate themes...
And pictures with the lady's hand who was standing next to our group :)
Andrew thought he was something else with his beads and will be forever grateful to the K girls for showing him the art of making stars with his beads!

No one was interested in having their picture taken.
Kate spent the first part of the parade on the fence line. She liked this, but preferred sitting on Daddy's shoulders! She would grab beads that fell to the ground. The K girls were also so sweet getting beads for her.
