Another Year of Boy Scout Summer Camp is in the Books {Sort Of}

The men of the House of Payne were at Boy Scout Summer Camp at the Spanish Trail Scout Reservation here in FL.  This is the same camp where Andrew is working.
It was too quiet around here in Girl Land!
I went up with Kate on Friday for family night and got some fun pictures, not to mention some delightful camp fare.  Delicious :)

Troop 400 leading the procession to the mess hall.
Check out Kevin's awesome flag wielding skills!
Kevin is followed by the self declared "Trash Man" who really owned his duties!
Sam looks happy to see us!
 "Wooo Troop 400!!!!"
 One happy girl...
Ahhh the dining hall... Bringing back fond memories of my Girl Scout Camp, Camp Little Notch.
Seriously cannot get a serious picture from these people!
But boy have I missed these funny faces!!!
 Pretty much where Kate remained!
Really dark picture of the Camp Waterfront staff!
Andrew has been teaching Life Saving and Small Boat Sailing (He is doing you proud Papa John!)  He is also life guarding during free swim times.
The staff works HARD!  12-14 hour days and many, like Andrew, are doing it voluntarily.
If you go to Scout Summer Camp this summer, give a shout out to your staff!
Andrew still has another week and a half of camp.

The boys had an absolute blast this summer!  Both Kevin and Sam earned rank:  Kevin Star and Sam 1st Class.  Scott also had a great time being with his boys and mentoring others.  This often involved specific instruction on precisely how long it takes to shower leaving no room for stupidity in the shower.  He had the entire troop chanting "Showers are a privilege".  Sounds like my Marine.
He was also able to hear representatives from our Gulf Coast Council speak to the recent decision made by the Boy Scouts of America.  Scott has finally found peace and has decided that our family will remain in the scouting family.
A great time was had by all!!!

"stupidity in the shower" - haha! :D Kate looks so sweet with her daddy and brothers. Caylie is the same at only a few weeks home. Can't wait to see her develop those relationships.
