He has come close countless times.
But Saturday, with a change in stance from an AWESOME coach,
numerous men he respects telling him it was a matter of time,
and confidence he could do it...
KEVIN HIT IS FIRST OUT OF THE PARK HOME RUN!!!
Naturally, my camera was sitting snugly on my lap at the time.
Figures.
I did snap the celebration at the plate!
He was beside himself!
He managed to snag it off the undefeated, first place team and one of the best pitchers in the league.
Overjoyed does not begin to describe how he felt!
We were so happy for him.
What a blessing to see a long time dream come true!!!
