Scouting, Scouting and MORE Scouting

This week was Kevin's very first Court of Honor.  He was so excited to formally receive his first rank of Scout!
Twice a year our troop sells mulch as a fundraiser.  It helps the boys pay for camp and helps support the running of the troop.  It is a long hard day of manual labor.  Some of the bags weigh about 80 pounds!  That is heavier than Kevin!!!  Andrew barely weighs 80 pounds!  The younger scouts take on the job of "Medic" where they tape up torn bags with duct tape.  Andrew joined the big boys hefting the bags.  Impressive!!
The first of three semi trucks arrives!
Sam is excited to help the scouts!
 Medic Kev on the job!
My man and his box cutter...
Big A referring to himself as "Two Bag Andrew"...
Kev and his friend share the labor.
 The Medics
 Future Troop Medic!!!
.  The troop had a successful fundraiser.  It was so impressive to see these boys work so hard.  None of us care if we see another bag of mulch anytime soon.

Looks like you have a great scout there! We too have a scout and he loves it! What great life lessons he is learning as well as having fun helping his scouts!
