The boys are involved in a wonderful Little League program. The league is large enough and fortunate enough to host a Challenger League for kiddos with disabilities. The Challenger team plays every Sunday. They are always looking for kids to come out and be "buddies" for the players. Kevin's coach is also one of the coaches for the challenger team. Each week he has been asking the boys to come out and lend a hand. It has become the highlight of our week. Such joy! Joy on the part of the players and joy on the part of the buddies. Excuse my telephoto... The auto focus was going a little wonky on me.

What a wonderful program! I will have to see if any of our area little leagues have something similar (when our time comes to start ball.....)
What a wonderful program for both sets of kids. Thank you so much for having your sweet, sweet boys take part in this program. Means a lot to me as my bff has a little guy with LOTS of special needs. He would LOVE a cool big boy to be his special buddy. Tell your boys that this post made me day! :)
