Prayers Needed For My Mom...

A little over a week ago my Mom broke her foot getting ready for their upcoming move to Florida this summer.  Last week her leg was causing her a lot of pain.  She ended up going back in to the hospital to have the source of the leg pain checked.  She assumed it was from the strain the break was putting on it.  This was not the case.  She had a large blood clot in one of the superficial veins in her leg.  Early this morning she woke to nausea and just overall feeling of being under the weather.  She tried to push through it and realized that she was very short of breath.  She contacted my sister who told her to get to the ER immediately.  When she got to the hospital they realized that the blood thinners that were being used to dissolve the leg clot were working in breaking it apart but unfortunately it was not dissolving.  Mom now has clots in the superficial veins of the lungs.  They immediately hospitalized her so they could monitor her heart to ensure no clots would move to her heart of brain.  She is pretty heavily medicated right now.  She will need to be in the hospital for about a week.  Those of you who know my Mom know she does not sit still very well.  She is so down right now.  Please pray the clots dissolve quickly so she may go home soon.  Please pray that she not be fearful.  Pray also for my Dad as he cares for her.  Please also pray that the doctors that treat her are able to find a cause for the clotting.  No one is convinced this is a result of a minor break in her foot.  It is killing me that I am not there.
