Beijing!!!

Our day began bright and early. We met our new friend Tom at 8 am and headed to Tian'namen Square. It was just amazing. We were so impressed by the sheer vastness of the square. We did feel a bit like the Sesame Street song "One of these things is not like the other". Can you tell who stood out like a sore thumb? That would be these two blondies!!! Our trip to the square was followed by a stop by the Jade market. There were very beautiful peices of jade. I felt like I was looking at some of Raymond Ko (of Okinawa fame's) jewlery. Next came my bucket list visit to the Great Wall. I have seen a lot of really cool places in my life.I have to say, that the Great Wall is truly one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. It is no wonder it is one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. To think that each one of those steps and bricks were laid by hand is awe inspiring! The beauty of the wall and the mountain range that engulfed it truly left me praising God for His creativity! It was beyond my wildest dreams!
We finsihsed the day by visiting the Summer Palace! It was truly a beautiful place. Tom was filled with fun facts about The Dragon Lady whose vision was the Summer Palace. We learned so much about her outrageous demands that resulted in quite a remarkable place.
We stand amazed that God is allowing us to join in this journey with Him. In less than 3 days we will hold His own in our arms. Here are some things to pray for:
*We fly to Nanning tomorrow- Please pray for traveling mercies
*Continue to pray for Kate's heart that God would prepare her to meet us
*Continue prayers for our boys. We miss them terribly!
Andrew, Kevin and Sam- We have thought of you non-stop and know you would have loved visiting the Great Wall today! We told our guide all about you and how excited you are to be big brothers. We think of our time on Okinawa all the time! This reminds us a lot of our time there. We have seen a TON of Shisas!!! We love you all so much!!! Mom and Dad

Scott and Kelly,
We on Okinawa feel so very close to you, as if we can reach out and touch you and close as in the world of adoption. We are so proud of the two of you for saying YES to God allowing Him to bless you in this magnificent way.
