Praising God for Cipro!!!

Poor Scott.  He woke very sick this morning.  Katie and I left him in bed with another dose of antibiotic, Motrin and some water.  We headed out to get her TB test checked and she is all set!  Whoop!!!  Another hurdle down.  Today we just chilled out in our room.  Scott slept and Katie and I just played and played.  She is just adorable and oh so smart!  I pulled out some lacing cards today.  I showed her how to do it once and she was hooked!  Every time she pushed the thread through she shouted "Wow"!!!!  with glee.  She is also quite addicted to her little "cell phone" and walks around babbling into it and occasionally saying "hewwo"!  There is a puppy on the screen that talks and sings.  She now also says "puppy", "one" and "two".  When the phone sings she humms and dances to the music!!!

Scott was feeling a little better by dinner.  We went out with some sweet friends we met "on line".  Michelle and I went through the LONG LOA wait together and miraculously ended up here together.  She and her husband Kevin are back for their second child.  They are such a sweet family.  Fortunately they live in Richmond so we are hoping to get together with them again soon!!!

We are in awe right now.  There are no words.  This child is completely different from the frightened and withdrawn child handed to us last Monday.  Each day she is a little more comfortable with us.  God is amazing!  She still has moments where she is a little sad.  So understandable.  She has endured a lot in her short 27 months.  God is so faithful.  He is truly the author of New Life.  We cannot wait to see what He has in store for this little sweetheart.
